Aberdeen-based ATPI Marine and Energy, part of the global business travel and event management organisation, ATPI, have sponsored Aberdeen FC player Liam Scales for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Lauren Durno, Sales Account Manager for Marine and Energy at ATPI said ‘Although we are a global company we have local offices across the world, and it’s so important to us that we support our local communities – and in this instance, team! Sport has a way of bringing communities together and we are so proud of our local team, so it’s fantastic to be forging a partnership with them.’

The Marine and Energy expert has had its head office in Aberdeen for over 80 years, and Pittodrie Stadium is based minutes away from the ATPI Marine and Energy office on Bridge Street.

Lauren Durno continued ‘There is a huge pride in our local football team, and we are thrilled to be one of their sponsors, and specifically Liam. This is our first sponsorship deal of this kind and I’m so proud that it’s here in Aberdeen. Liam is such a talented young player, and we are delighted to be supporting him in what I’m sure will be an exciting season for the team”.

As one of the newest players to come to Aberdeen FC, Liam is a popular loan from Celtic.  The sponsorship deal will run until the end of the 2023 season and supports with the running costs of the club.
