ATPI Group, a leading global travel management company (TMC), today announces its expanded leadership team in France, comprising of both new appointments and longstanding members. The team, led by Managing Director Nick Hatherall, is poised to spearhead the company’s ambitious growth strategy in the French market.
The news comes following a hugely successful year, whereby the region saw a 30% increase in both sales and revenue YoY, and a client retention rate of 98% in 2023.
Nick Hatherall, who assumed the role of Managing Director in July 2023, brings nearly two decades of invaluable experience in the travel industry. His mandate is to reignite growth and unlock the market’s potential, leveraging his deep understanding of French travel business and culture.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick expressed his commitment to revitalising ATPI France, stating, “Our goal is clear: to double the size of ATPI FR within three years and establish a distinctive brand and position in the French market.”
Adam Knights, Regional Managing Director EMEA at ATPI, remarked, “Nick brings a wealth of experience to ATPI and will help us develop our systems, processes and commercial activity. Our business lines – in the South (Marine and Energy) and in the North (Corporate) – require strong management and co-ordination. We are lucky to have Nick’s experience in the larger multi-national arena to manage these business lines and I look forward to working closely with him.”
Emma Wright, joins as newly appointed Finance Manager and brings a wealth of experience in commercial finance and business partnering. With her expertise, Emma will oversee all financial aspects of ATPI France, ensuring robust financial management and provide invaluable support to the entire team across the region.
Finally, Emmanuel Jayet, ATPI France’s new Account Management & Digital Services Manager, joined the team in December 2023, bringing with him extensive experience in digital strategy development. Emmanuel’s role will focus on enhancing client relationships and spearheading the digital transformation efforts to meet the evolving needs of customers in France.
ATPI France’s strategic priorities for the year ahead include people development and commercial expansion across the region, having already observed a robust sales pipeline in Q1 and Q2 2024. Its aim is to become the number one TMC in the Marine, Energy & Yachting sector in France while steadily expanding its corporate portfolio.
